Our catering team is headed up by Head Chef Gavin Charlton. Gavin is always accompanied by at least one sous chef, plus chef de partie, commis chefs and others as required by each particular production.
We can cater for up to 250 people.
Special dietary requirements are easily catered for such as coeliac (wheat & gluten intolerance), vegan, vegetarian options available daily. We always have soya milk & soya & rye bread on board. Halal diets can easily be accommodated on request.
The mobile mouthful team always wear distinctive professional chefs tunics when on location.
Sammy Mead and Duncan Manning founded, and ran The Mobile Mouthful back in 1974. Over the next quarter of a century they earned an excellent reputation for providing location catering of the highest professional quality and standard, while always retaining that essential personal touch. Gavin Charlton joined as a location chef and after many years working for Mobile Mouthful was given the opportunity to take over the running of the company.
Since that time Mobile Mouthful has grown from strength to strength, without ever compromising on the high standards that have been the hallmark of Mobile Mouthful for the last 40 years.
Our Catering Vehicles are fully self contained and and self sufficient 7.5 ton catering trucks
We also use fully insulated refrigerated chiller support vans with monitored temperature control to ensure ingredients stay at their very best.
